The story of MiZen nature's Triage Cream
A mother’s mission to help her son, and others
Ellen, a devoted mother of three, was no stranger to the challenges of raising a child with eczema. Her eldest son, Louis, was diagnosed with the condition at just two years old. By the time he turned three, Ellen had spent countless hours researching and testing various creams, including hydrocortisone and other steroid-based treatments. While these products provided temporary relief, Ellen was deeply concerned about the long-term side effects of steroid use on Louis’s delicate, growing skin.
Eczema, she learned, is a widespread and often lifelong condition. It isn’t something you can necessarily cure - it’s about managing the symptoms: reducing inflammation, alleviating the urge to itch, and helping the skin repair itself. Frustrated by the lack of natural, effective alternatives, Ellen decided to take matters into her own hands.
A journey into nature’s healing power
Ellen immersed herself in research, scouring scientific studies and learning about traditional remedies. She was particularly inspired by New Zealand’s rich history of natural healing. After months of testing combinations, she developed a formula that blended some of the country’s most powerful ingredients:
